I live passionately through activity to explore the world, play in its beauty, and learn about its wonders. By interacting and learning from others, I create lasting and meaningful relationships that last a lifetime. I want to inspire my students to learn and live adventurously with an open, inquisitive mind and laughter.
I have been teaching since 2000 and my most recent teaching experience was at Inuksuk High School in Iqaluit, Nunavut.
I completed a Master’s Degree from Buffalo State University of New York focusing on Physical Education. Included in my studies is the Coetail program discovering how to integrate technology efficiently and effectively into my specific content area.
I began teaching in Canada in the Northwest Territories and have taught everything from Grade 12 Biology to Grade 3 PE including. My passion lies in helping students learn and discover who they are as they grow into adulthood, “mistakes” (aka: learning opportunites) and all.
I enjoy being active and currently participate in running, tennis, yoga, wall climbing, swimming and resistance training. I love travel and experiencing different cultures, languages, and foods. My adventurous outgoing nature brings many interesting experiences to my life!
